Amends Title 13 (Criminal Code), Chapter 29 (Offenses Against Public Order), Section 2910 (Animal Cruelty) of Arizona Revised Statutes by adding a new section establishing a central animal abuser registry.

SB 1483

Amends Title 44 (Trade & Commerce), Chapter 11 (Regulations Concerning Particular Businesses), Article 17 (Pet Dealers), Sections 1799.08 (Civil Penalties; Enforcement Actions) and 1799.10 (Pet stores; pet dealers; prohibitions on dog and cat purchases; recordkeeping) of AZ Revised Statutes further restrict sourcing of dogs and cats by pet dealers.
