Amends Title 56 (Wildlife & Fisheries), Section 635 (Diamondback terrapins; trapping; turtle eggs) of Louisiana Revised Statutes to prohibit the collection or harvest of turtle eggs and diamondback terrapins.

HCR 61

A House Concurrent Resolution requesting that the Department of Wildlife & Fisheries review the restrictions on possession of exotic and invasive species and to evaluate the advisability of including additional species in those prohibitions.

Amends Title 3 (Agriculture & Forestry), Chapter 17 (Cruelty to Animals) of Louisiana Revised Statutes by adding a new Part IX (Registration of Animal Abuse Offenders) requiring the Department of Agriculture & Forestry to establish a centralized public animal abuse registry.
