PIJAC Shares Members' Stories During POLITICO Interview

POLITICO--a leading political journalism organization--recently visited the PIJAC offices here in our nation's capital. PJIAC staff was eager to share our members' stories and promote responsible pet ownership during POLITICO's visit.

We're very proud to showcase our members during our time with POLITICO; not only how PIJAC members support and promote animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, environmental stewardship, and the human-animal bond--but also all of the fantastic things our members do for animals. 

POLITICO produced an article that ran in the Sept. 17th, 2013 print edition, as well as online. They also produced a fantastic video featuring PIJAC President/CEO, Mike Canning.

So that means promoting pet ownership broadly but also some more specific issues, like the group’s latest effort to persuade Amtrak to allow pets on board.

“There’s not really parity between airlines and trains when it comes to taking your pet along,” he said.

PIJAC was out in full force last week for the annual Pet Night on Capitol Hill on Sept. 12, featuring lawmakers and their little ones.
