(LD 1601) Amends Title 7 (Agriculture & Animals), Part 2 (Marketing, Labeling & Grading), Chapter 103 (Products Controlled), Subchapter 4-A (Feeds), Section 714 (Registration) of Maine Revised Statutes to eliminate the surcharge assessed on each product name of commercial feed that is pet food or that is pet food from a home-based manufacturer by fiscal year 2019-2020.

LD 305 amends Title 12 (Conservation), Chapter 915, Subchapter 15 (Wildlife Importation, Possession, Requirements), Section 12152 (Permit to possess wildlife in captivity) of Maine Revised Statutes to provide that a permit is required to import exotic wildlife into or possess wildlife in the State or to receive exotic wildlife.

(LD 1451) "An Act To Promote Biosecurity and Better Regulate the Importation, Possession and Use of Aquatic Species", amends Title 12 (Conservation), Subchapter 15 (Wildlife Importation & Possession Permits) of Maine Revised Statutes to prohibit certain fish, amphibians, aquatic invertebrates and aquatic plants from being introduced, imported or possessed by a person in the State unless a permit to do so has been issued by the Commissioner of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
